You’ll find bellow information about the datasources that currently power the Ifremer OpenSearch Service.

The CERSAT Satellite Datasource

Introduction

The OpenSearch service, heavily rely on Jeff PIOLLE’s (CERSAT) carefully crafted libraries and high-performance indexes, to do anything related to satellite geometries.

Update frequency

Depending of the product, the OpenSearch underlying ElasticSearch indexes are updated at most 50 or 100 minutes after new data have been received.

The ARGO In-situ Datasource

Introduction

The new generation ARGO-related web portals like Argo Data Selection and Argo Fleet Monitoring rely on Big Data technologies, to store there associated data and metadata. The OpenSearch Service is based on such Big Data to provide quick Argo cycles search.

Update frequency

The OpenSearch underlying ElasticSearch indexes are updated at least once a day.
